Navigation & window/level

Moving through slices

• Mouse wheel over the image moves slice by slice.
• The Scroll tool (S) lets you drag vertically to scrub.
• The vertical scrollbar on the right edge jumps to any slice.
• Keyboard: ↑/↓ and PageUp/PageDown.

Window / Level (brightness & contrast)

Select the W/L tool (W) and drag on the image: horizontal changes window (contrast), vertical changes level (brightness). Open the presets menu next to the tool for modality presets (e.g. lung, bone, brain, abdomen) read from or tuned to the image.

Zoom, pan & reset

• Zoom (Z) — drag to zoom in/out.
• Pan (P) — drag to move the image.
• Reset / center (0) — restore the default view.

Layouts & sync

• Switch layout: 1 (1×1), 2 (1×2), 4 (2×2).
• Drag a series from the list onto any panel.
• Toggle synchronized scrolling (K) to scroll multiple panels together.

Cine (multi-frame / ultrasound)

Multi-frame series (e.g. ultrasound, angio) play as cine. Use the on-image controls to play/pause, step frames and set the frame rate.
